In October 2001, SCIS Air Security became one of the nation’s
first businesses to begin helping airlines ensure that their catering security services
met the enhanced security measures required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
and the newly formed Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Since that time, the
company has been a leader in the field of catering security and has expanded to offer
additional airline security services.
From coast to coast, and in Hawaii and Alaska, SCIS Air Security is currently
serving over 60 U.S. and international airlines and operates at 54 major U.S. airports.
The company has approximately 600 employees.
The leadership at SCIS Air Security is comprised of experts formerly with airline
services, regulatory services, law enforcement, and catering and customer service
operations, who are intimately familiar with all facets of the operations they monitor.
SCIS Air Security, a Delaware Corporation, is an independent subsidiary of SC International Services, Inc.
